Jade Rollers are a big beauty trend right now but people have been using this stone for beauty for centuries! Originating in China, jade rollers have been used to detox and depuff skin, producing less wrinkles and a youthful glow.

Why does it work?

Essentially, as you press the roller onto your skin you are increasing the circulation in your face and helping clear your lymphatic system. Your lymphatic system is AMAZING. It runs through your entire body like a road with cars that transports toxins out of your system. Keeping your lymphatic system uncongested is essential to health. You can learn about it more on my post, Lymphatic System

Where to get a Jade Roller

I purchased my jade roller at Target for $15, but you can find less expensive ones on Amazon or stores like Marshall or Home Goods.

How to Use a Jade Roller

The jade roller face lift is easy because it only adds 2-3 minutes to your daily beauty routine! Scroll down for a video tutorial.

Before doing the jade roller face lift, I recommend you gently message your scalp with the tip of your fingers to help get the blood circulating.  Messaging your scalp will also help with hair growth and thickening hair!

If you use essential oils, grab some skin-lovin’ oils to apply to your skin before your roll. Great oils includes: lavender, frankincense, Peace & Calming, Patchouli, Germanium, and the blend. AromaLife. HACK: Wipe half a Young Living Seedling Baby Wipe on your face if you don’t want to use your oils. The Seedlings wipes are full of amazing oils that will make your skin feel soft like a baby’s bottom (What a weird phrase)! And they only cost $11 a pack.

Jade Roller: Step by Step

1. Cleanse face

2. Open your lymph system: Tap your breastbone and underarms in a circular motion to open up lymphatic system. Learn more about detoxing your underarms with my Deodorant Detox Post.

3. Grab your Jade Roller: Using the roller, start in the middle of your chin and roll out along your jawline to your earlobe, down your neck and over your shoulder. 10xs on each side.

4. Cheeks: Roll on cheekbones 3 times each side.

5. Under Eyes: Using smaller side of roller, roll under eyes from nose towards temples 3 times, each side.

6. Forehead: From the middle of your forehead, follow the curve above your eye brow toward the temples. Roll above your brow 3 times each side.

7. Roll up from top of nose up the forehead. 3 times.

8.Ears: Set your roller down. With your fingers, pull your earlobe in small circles starting from the bottom of your ear to the top.

Thats all there is too it!  I just my roller every day, twice a day when I clean my face! Another great tool for your skin is facial dry brushing. You do facial dry brushing 1-3 times per week. Check out my post Facial Dry Brushing for Beautiful Skin.
