Ah hair! It the crown on our heads. But it seems like we are never satisfies with the hair the Good Lord have us.

My hair is straight. I want it curly.

My hair is curly. I want it straight.

My hair is brown. I want it blond.

My hair is too long. Cut it all off!

I feel like i’ve been in all of these situations within a given day! I love coloring and cutting my hair, but still very ignorant with how to style my hair. Thankfully my daughters like doing hair so maybe they cab make me pretty one day!

In addition to not being happy with our hair, we then find ourselves losing more hair than we want to! Especially those dear mama with newborns. They take a shower to find hair falling out at chunks at a time!

Your Solution is NOT in a Bottle

Don’t get me wrong. You should absolutely use shampoo and conditioner that is all natural and not full of toxins that will harm your body systems (I love Pure Haven’s Shampoo and Conditioner). My point though is that you should not rely on a shampoo to make your hair smoother, shinier or more manageable.

Broccoli for Breakfast’s Beauty Philosophy

Broccoli for Breakfast’s Beauty Philosophy is that beauty REALLY is from the inside out! We believe that your natural beauty will shine through when:

  1. You nourish your organs
  2. You support your body systems

When you focus on eating well and staying hydrated, you will see results in both your hair and skin. You can’t out shampoo a bad diet. A poor diet full of processed food, junk food, and sugar will make your hair ratty, dull and will cause it to fall out. No matter what specially formulated shampoo you use, your shampoo cannot keep up with a toxic diet.
