Broccoli 4 Breakfast’s Food Philosophy
We do not believe in counting calories. We believe in eating real food. Less meat, more green veggies, healthy fats, hydrate hydrate hydrate!
Also, we don’t believe that you need to base your diet on carbohydrates: breads, pastas, etc. Your body does need carbohydrates, but you get an ample among of carbohydrates from green veggies and fruits. However, unlike breads and pastas, green veggies don’t convert to sugar and give your insulin a crazy leap!
Don’t Count Calories
Your diet should consist of a variety of vitamins and minerals. It should NOT focus on counting calories! What you eat should not be strictly about losing weight. There are plenty of unhealthy skinny people walking around. I know, I was one of them. However, while skinny does not equal healthy, healthy people are not obese or overweight. Thing is, when you focus on nourishing your organs the weight will come off automatically.
Cleansing your liver, hydrating your kidneys, and oxygenating your cells are all part of having a healthy, fit body. Bet Jenny Craig never talked about that.
Nourish Your Organs
We believe that when you are beautiful on the inside, you will be beautiful on the inside. We mean that quit LITERALLY when we speak of nourishing your organs.
- Hydrate your kidney to flush toxins from your body.
- Keep your lymphatic system moving to keep toxins out of your body.
- Cleanse your liver for energy!
- Keep your digestion working correctly with fiber.
- Nourish your largest organ, your skin, by hydration and eating antioxidants.
- Eat antioxidants to fight off scavenging free radicals that causes oxidative stress.
